Marijuana - the inner peace for youth
Nothing intrigued and fascinated me more than the music and drug culture of 1960’s. Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, and The Beatles were nothing less than gods to masses. Spending my teenage listening to these musicians brought the urge to try the drugs as well. Was it LSD and the hallucinogens behind the genius of their music or were they really that gifted was the question that baffled me.
At last I succumbed to this desire of trying Marijuana. A night out with friends was chosen as the ideal time to do it. My friend who had a history of drug abuse boasted that he had scored Afghani marijuana for me and promised it will be an amazing experience. We smoked up and it actually was quite a potent drug, within minutes I felt light headed and really started enjoying myself. Well, I guess at that moment, the tingling voice in my head said " Marijuana is the inner peace for youth ". Anyways, besides that I found out that getting weed smell out of room was another huge problem that I had to deal with!
But then it started growing on, I could feel that my reflexes were slowing down and my heart beating slower than ever. Things got worse when I got intothe “still phase”, I could hear my friends making jokes and picking on me but Icouldn’t answer them or even move a muscle. Thirst stabbed its pangs in my throat; it felt so parched that even breathing was made difficult. I wanted to scream out to my friends to give me water or jolt me out of this paralyses but thewords just won’t come out. This is when panic overtook me; my mind was numbed by a torrent of thoughts, guilt, fear and anxiety. This grew until I erupted into a fit of nausea and spewed out on the floor. The thing that shook me the most was the attitude of my friends, they hardly made a move to comfort me orhelp me up, and they kept on enjoying their buzz.

Anything that is a waste is Haram.
Marijuana, dobe, coc, speed, hash, ice etc are all haram, for all the above three reasons.
so as a muslim we should avoid it
Do you have about .1% knowledge about drugs and why they are haram? NO you don't ... Music is haram, watching t.na-mehrams is haram, in short everything is haram ..conduct a personal research setting aside your religious beliefs on drugs and you will get the answer... You see god doesn't have a religion, souls doesn't follow a religion why? Bcz religion is man made b.s to control people.. Again do your own research.

so i dont think its that bad ...yes i agree its haram in islam and thats y we should not use it....but if we talk generally then its ok i think its relaxes users nerves
Being high is a great feeling and of course if you take away a good deal of time in this state your going to feel a little bummed. It's normal, wouldn't call it a withdrawal syndrome, you're just missing a good thing is all.
ReplyDeleteMarijuana is not addicting like other hard drugs or alcohol. Also marijuana helps people with ADD, makes them focus better, and sometimes learn better. Sometimes when you smoke your nerves are more dull, but sometimes they can be more alive, so to speak. You need to know that everybody reacts to marijuana differently.

Thus, marijuana can inhibit maturity.

The Center on Addiction and Substance Abuse at Columbia University found adolescents who smoke pot 85 times more likely to use cocaine than their non–pot smoking peers. And 60 percent of youngsters who use marijuana before they turn 15 later go on to use cocaine.
But many teens encounter serious trouble well short of the "gateway." Marijuana is, by itself, a high-risk substance for adolescents. More than adults, they are likely to be victims of automobile accidents caused by marijuana’s impact on judgment and perception. Casual sex, prompted by compromised judgment or marijuana’s disinhibiting effects, leaves them vulnerable not only to unwanted pregnancy but also to sexually transmitted diseases (STDs).
I'm not saying it's good, i'm not saying it's bad, i'm saying it can be both. I for one have only been high twice, once it was one helluva good time, other time it made me depressed.

They wont say it to you but they detest your smell. And as a muslim you are a model of Islam and sent down to leave a good impression on muslims.
3) Waste of Money: A lot of peoples income is spent on cigarreettes when it could be spent on their parents and their wives and kids. Which causees a lot of social problems
4) Breaks Relationships: Smoking is a marriage breaker. You want to have a good relationship and smoke then marry someone who smokes the same amount as you and die 20 years early together. WHat a sick life
Its common sense. Use your head and dont smoke! Dont wait for a fatwa to be released that smoking is not allowed in Islam. Stop Smoking because YOU think its not right NOT BECAUSE someone else tells you its not right. Be a thinker not a brainwashed bunny.
i dont smoke hash. i did once. some garda from pakistan. if someone has ever smoked hash, the high is as follows, you get so high you can't stand. your legs begin to buckle and you cant do anythign at all.
