YOUTH OF PAKISTAN

The destiny of a nation is vested with the youngsters. These are the people if guided suitably; they can reorganize the course of the world. They have the capability of extensive thinking, struggle, innovation and advancement. The youth are open to different ideas contrary to the people who are mature and old, they are ready to search for the truth, and adapt changes because they are young and can adjust to change easily. Allama Iqbal realized the strength of youth in these wordings:
"I have love for those youngsters who pull down the stars."
Today Pakistan is facing many challenges from within and beyond. Terrorism, drone attacks, pitiful law and order situation, bad economic conditions, education dilemma, corruption, energy crisis and so many others. There are many factors behind these problems, but one of the most important and imperative is the problem of unemployment. The problem of unemployment has been existed in Pakistan since its origin. It has occupied a centre in the country therefore, Pakistan's new generations suffers from this problem. The main causes that lead to unemployment in our country include; uncontrolled population, political instability, lack of proper education, saturated job market, lack of industrialization, gender discrimination, and biasness. Pakistan is not completely independent yet. The policies both political and economic are outlined partially or completely by the involvement of big players. Their involvement is not confined to that extent but even more, they are spreading negative ideas using different tools. youth are the actual target. Youth are the nation builders, those nations prosper whose young generation works for its betterment. In Pakistan there is no insufficiency of talent and skill, but the problem is that there is no room for such talent. Every year thousands of students graduate from universities, but there is less jobs as compared to the number of applicants graduated. By the end of the year hundreds of these graduates still remain unemployed and many of these troubled youngsters, annoyed by the society are forced to suicide. As time passes more graduates would pass out and the need of employment would increase, therefore such policies should be made which ensure that these graduates would get some job so they could earn their living. Moreover education system of our country is unfortunate; there are no strict rules for organizations about education policies. Each year textbook boards change their course outline without prior notice and force students to buy new course. Exams may be duplicated, or cheating material may be provided to the students at ease. There is no regular check of authority on the education policies as to make amendments for improvement and reorganization. There is an immense increase in population, each day there is addition of five to six babies in human capital. If the needs of these toddlers are not fulfilled they would not add to the workforce and thus would create a burden on their parents. There should be some control on population to reduce the pressure of unemployment. Today is the era of technology and much of the youth is interested in IT, therefore service sector should provide jobs related to technology. Minds of youth are full of innovation and creativity, thus their rights should not be suppressed and they should have the authority to choose whatever they like for themselves, but this opportunity would be created if government plays a positive role in providing these opportunities by providing diverse jobs.
