Girl Commits suicide due to Police harassment

Saba Akram, an 18 year old girl which was arrested for kidnapping charges of a friend committed suicide after police harassed her. She could not bear the extremist treatment from the police and committed suicide.

It is an extremely disturbing event and we are surprised to see that the civil society and the government officials have kept quite over the issue. We request you to spread this news so Saba Akram is served justice and the policemen involved in this heinous crime get severe punishment.

سرمایہ داروں اور جاگیرداروں کے درمیان بہاولپور کی ایک غریب بیوہ خاتون نے بھی پنجاب اسمبلی کی رکنیت کا حلف اٹھایا۔ مسلم لیگ (ن) کے ٹکٹ پر مخصوص نشست کے ذریعے اسمبلی پہنچنے والی حسینہ بیگم نے گفتگو میں بتایا کہ معلوم نہیں یہ حقیقت ہے یا سپنا؟ میرا تعلق غریب گھرانے سے ہےبیوہ ہوں شوہر فروٹ کی ریڑھی لگاتے تھے اب وہی ریڑھی بیٹا لگاتا ہے، میں گھر کے گزارے کیلئے لوگوں کے کپڑے سیتی ہوں مگر میں میرٹ پر اسمبلی پہنچی ہوں مگر اب بھی لگ رہا ہے کوئی خواب دیکھ رہی ہوں، جو لوگ میرا مذاق اڑاتے تھے اب مبارک دے رہے ہیں۔ حسینہ بیگم نے بتایا کہ میں تعلیم یافتہ نہیں مگر حلف اٹھانے کے بعد میں نے انگوٹھا نہیں لگایا بلکہ دستخط کئے ہیں۔ میں دس ہزار روپے لے کر بیٹے کے ساتھ گھر سے لاہور آئی ہوں، دو ہزار روپے رہائش کیلئے ادا کر دئے ہیں

PML N nominates a poor lady from Bahawalpur for MPA.

PML N has nominated Haseena from Bahawalpur region on one of their reserved seats for women in Punjab. She lives from hand to mouth and against the conventions of this country's politics, a very diligent but less wealthy party worker has been awarded a seat.She is not literate but says she would put in all her effort to resolve issues of her area and poor people. She herself sews clothes for living.
It looks like we are finally moving towards a Roshan Pakistan.

He further said that no government can solve all the crises alone and they have to put national interest before everything else to steer the nation out of current crisis. Moreover, they would encourage austerity and simplicity in the province.

Nawaz Sharif says No to Corruption

Nawaz Sharif says he won't be involved in corruption nor would he let any one from his cabinet or party do it. The message is clear from the PML N chief, and there would be a no tolerance policy on the issue.

He further said that thier intentions were honest and the clear majority in the parliament is an evidence of it. The PML N government would do its duties and they would not be involved in revenge-seeking governance. However, he clarified that those who looted in the previous tenure would have to pay for their sins and wrongdoings.

Chaudry Nisar: Drone attacks have sabotaged the peace process

Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan who would be appointed as the Interior Minister has come out and said that the drone attacks have sabotaged the peace talks with Tehrik-e-Taliban Pakistan. Pakistan has openly expressed their discontent at the latest American drone strikes which resulted in the death of Taliban's key leader. Although it was seen as a huge success in the Western media, Pakistan once again saw it with an eye of discontent. Taliban have called off the peace talks and there are fears of suicide attacks in the country as they seek revenge for the death of their leader.

Meanwhile, United States senator John Kerry has defended the drone attacks and declared them within the bounds of law.

Nawaz Sharif: Stop the Drone Attacks

In a meeting with United States ambassador, Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif and General Ashfaq Pervez Kiani made it clear that the drone strikes in the country must stop.

Pakistani delegation conveyed the point that the bilateral terms between the countries would not improve until and unless the drone strikes stop. Moreover, it was also told to James Dubin that the Pakistani nation highly dislikes drone attacks in the north western part of the country and the anti American sentiments grow stronger with each strike.

"Drone Strikes are an Attack on Pakistan's Sovereignty"

We all must understand that American drone strikes in our country are a violation of United Nations charter and a clear attack on Pakistan's sovereignty.

The message was clear: "STOP THE DRONE ATTACKS"
